New generation school catering
The Fresherie School Catering project builds on more than 20 years of experience of the Fresherie brand in the field of healthy lifestyle. We have been operating on the Czech market since 2004, when we were one of the first to introduce the concept of fresh juices and smoothies, and subsequently the original Frozen Yogurt concept – a healthy alternative to regular ice cream.
Since 2017, we have been operating the successful concept of Fresherie Bistro in Pankrác in Prague, where we offer breakfasts, lunches and office catering prepared from fresh, high-quality and seasonal ingredients. We are now transferring our experience in gastronomy, emphasis on quality and health, to the school environment.
What does Freherie bring to schools?
From September 2025, we are expanding our activities to include the area of school catering. The aim of the project is to bring modern, tasty and nutritionally balanced food for children from kindergartens, primary and secondary schools.
As one of the first in the Czech Republic, we are already cooking according to the principles of the new consumer basket, which the Ministry of Education will officially introduce from 1 September 2026. This change is aimed at a healthier, more varied and more economical menu, which supports proper eating habits in children.
More vegetables, quality proteins and legumes / Less salt, sugar and no industrially processed semi-finished products / Seasonal and fresh ingredients, a varied menu and tasty preparation of dishes.
